When Jeremiah V. Downey founded what is now Downey Energy, in 1917, most customers got in touch by mail or in person. A few may have called on the telephone, but at that time only 35% of U.S. homes had one.
Our business has changed a lot over the last century, as we’ve become a full-service energy services company. But we’ve stuck with our values of reliability, quality work, and courteous, respectful service.
