With our Pre-buy Plan, you’re in control of how much you pay for your fuel. As the name suggests, you purchase your supply of fuel before the heating season begins. When you do that, you’ll get every gallon at our lowest preseason price. We’ve seen how volatile the fuel markets can be. And fuel prices tend to increase during the winter months because demand increases and supplies are limited. However, you won’t have to worry about steep increases in fuel prices when you enroll in our Pre-buy Plan because you’ll have already purchased your fuel.
Our Price Cap Plan puts a limit on how much you’ll pay per gallon without making you buy all your fuel upfront. You’ll also benefit if the price of fuel happens to go down. Before heating season begins, we’ll set a price per gallon—your capped price. No matter what happens in the markets, you’ll never pay more than that per gallon price. However, if the daily market rate falls below your capped price when we deliver your fuel, you’ll pay that lower amount. So you’ll be protected against price spikes but you’ll also benefit if fuel prices go down.
Our Budget Plan gives our customers a way to keep their fuel costs predictable and affordable. Most households use more fuel during the winter months. And fuel prices also tend to get higher during the winter as demand increases and supplies can be limited. The combined effect is often extremely high bills during the winter months. You can avoid getting hit with higher fuel bills during your high usage months. As part of the Budget Plan, your yearly fuel costs are evenly divided into ten payments. No matter what, you pay the same amount each month—even when your usage goes up or the price of fuel goes up. Want even more control over your fuel costs?
